Our goal is to offer a well organized event where the fighters will be treated with all respect: waiting will be kept to a minimum and schedule with brackets will be posted in our website 48 hours before the event.

Hitalo Machado defeats his opponent via rear naked choke it the WCF 8.
09/28/2009

Danbury, CT - It was a great night for Best Way BJJ and American Top Team. Hitalo Machado and Brent Reed represented our team with all their heart and will to fight. Two great performances that mades us proud!

Brent Reed showed a warrior spirit: How many people would keep fighting after falling out of the ring injuring his right arm, to the point that it could be barely moved to punch or anything else? How many people would have said: "Coach, I still can do this, let me fight please!"?. Brent Reed did it! Congrats Brent, you didn't win the fight but for us you are a real champion!

Hitalo Machado was just perfect. He pushed the pace during the entire fight surprising who did not know about his striking skills. As usual in Machado's career he had to face an opponent with much more experience, which did not affect his confidence. After a perfect take down defense, Machado took his opponent's back submitting him with a rear naked choke in the first round.

No matter if you want to be a professional fighter or just to have fun, be in shape, learn real martial arts and make new friends, at Best Way BJJ / ATT you will find the most important: a team that is a family, real martial arts, and teammates that will make you proud!!!

Abu Dhabi Brazil: Glover Teixeira takes the first place!
02/08/2009

Best Way BJJ's Black Belt Glover Teixeira made us proud one more time. Teixeira fought in the ADCC Brazil trials and he is now qualified to fight in the main event in New York.

Abu Dhabi is the most prestigious grappling tournament in the world and a first place is the best credential someone could have.

Teixeira said in many interviews that his focus has been always the MMA and proof of that are the remarkable knock outs over Tierry Soukoudjo in the WEC and Jorge Oliveira in the PFC events.

Way to go Glover, always making your hometown team happy!!!
